As a follow up to the earlier events in June, we will be running further sessions to help you find out more about cohousing, what Cohousing Harrow’s plans are, how we organise ourselves and to help you consider whether you’d like to join us. During the first session which will be held near Harrow & Wealdstone station, we will be covering the following topics:
– Where we are and how we got here
– What we are trying to do – aims and objectives
– Who we want to be – focus on our community
– How we make decisions – Sociocracy
– Our proposed mixed tenure model – MHOS alongside affordable rent
– Membership structure
By the end of this session, we hope that you will feel up to speed with where we are, and able to decide whether you’d like to explore the possibility of becoming part of our Cohousing community. If so, we will then run further personalised sessions, arranged to suit your availability, to answer any other questions you may have , and to explain what becoming an Associate member would involve.
